Deisy Maldonado, OTD, OTR/L is a skilled, bilingual Occupational Therapist at M Street Pediatric Therapy.
Prior to joining the M Street team, Deisy worked as a 1:1 Instructional Aide supporting children with Autism in the school-based setting. In this role, she was able to complete a 40-hour assessment, becoming a Registered Behavior Technician.
While completing her graduate studies, Deisy worked in the inpatient and outpatient clinics at La Rabida Children's Hospital providing occupational therapy services to patients age 0-18. In addition to her experience in the hospital setting, Deisy also worked at a outpatient mental healthcare organization providing client-centered and trauma-informed services to individuals with severe mental health challenges. Deisy's role was to ensure patients were supported in achieving independent living and safety within their community.
